The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately, reports our Chapainawabganj correspondent.
BSF troops of Pilason camp opened fire on a group of Bangladesh cattle traders in Malda district in the Indian state of Paschimbanga around 3:00am, said Maj Sharif Mahmud Hasan, deputy commanding officer of 43 Rifles Battalion of BGB in Naogaon.
The duo died on the spot, the BGB official said.
The bodies were lying on the ground 150 yards inside the Indian territory till noon when the report was filed.
It was not clear whether the Bangladeshi cattle traders were returning from India, Maj Sharif said.
Border Guard Bangladesh sent a protest letter to the BSF and asked them to immediately return the bodies.
On Tuesday, BSF gunned down two Bangladeshi cattle traders on Bujruk border in Haripur upazila of Thakurgaon.
