3 teenage addicts buried under their own tunnel hideout

Three teenage boys were buried under a tunnel that they had dug in Mahiganj Balatali area of Rangpur city Thursday morning, to safely take drugs.
They are: Limon, 17, Shakil, 16, and Bappi, 15, reports our Rangpur correspondent.
Shamim, a local resident said gamblers and drug addicts often used the earthen tunnel to hide themselves from views while gambling and taking drugs.

Witnesses said Shakil’s mother started looking for his son around 11:00am, as he did not return home for a long time since morning.
Half-an-hour later, she suddenly saw the pair of sandals of Shakil in front of the tunnel beside a bamboo shrub.
She removed some straw from the top of the tunnel and found traces of three boys buried under the soil.
As she screamed for help, locals rushed and recovered the bodies of Limon and Bappi.
Shakil was rushed to the Rangpur Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
On information, fire fighters rushed to the spot and recovered some addictive substances and cigarettes beneath the soil.
