MA Syed
Former chief election commissioner MA Syed died at his Gulshan residence on Saturday morning.Syed had conducted the 2001 national elections of the country. He had served as the chief of the EC from 2000 to 2005.
M Asaduzzaman, director (public relation) of Election Commission Secretariat, confirmed the news to The Daily Star.
