The Gonojagoron Mancha on Sunday submitted a mass petition signed by over 1 crore people to the acting Speaker of the House to press home six-point demand which include banning Jamaat-Shibir politics.
Imran H Sarker, spokesperson for Gonojagoron Mancha, submitted the memorandum to acting speaker Shawkat Ali at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban around 2:00pm.

Prior to that, police escorted the team of three members—Imran H Sarker, Kaniz and Mehedi Hasan Tamal—into the office of the acting speaker around 1:20pm.
The law enforcers intercepted the processionists at Farmgate and allowed only a delegation of 11 members to march towards the parliament.
