Hartal again Wednesday

 

Jamaat-e-Islami has called a countrywide dawn-to-dusk hartal for Wednesday in protest against the ICT-2 verdict that sentenced Jamaat leader Abdul Quader Mollah to life term imprisonment in a war crimes case.
Jamaat acting Secretary General Rafiqul Islam Khan, in a press release, announced the hartal on Tuesday rejecting the verdict.
The press release said the tribunal pronounced the verdict as per the instruction of the government. "It was a stage-managed verdict," it said.

The International Crimes Tribunal-2 sentenced Jamaat leader Abdul Quader Mollah to life term imprisonment for his crime against humanity committed during Liberation War in 1971.
