spokesperson Tariqul Islam on Monday said his party does not support
the Jamaat-e-Islami's demand for scrapping the International Crimes
Tribunals in which top Jamaat leaders are facing trials for committing
crimes against humanity during Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971.At a press conference at BNP central office at the city’s Naya Paltan, the BNP coordinator also reiterated his party’s stance that they support trial of those who committed crimes against humanity during the country’s Liberation War.
“But we want the trial to be neutral and fair, which are missing in the ongoing trial process,” Tariqul replied to journalists' query.
