days into the death of a Dhaka University student in a road accident, a
female student was injured as a rickshaw carrying her was hit by a
CNG-run auto-rickshaw at the varsity campus Thursday afternoon.Marjia al Hakim, a resident of Rokeya Hall and first year student of psychology department of the university, was going towards DU library around 2:00pm.
Witnesses said the girl got hurt in her hands and head as she fell off the rickshaw being hit by the auto-rickshaw at its back.
Professor MA Ali, proctor of the DU, said she was admitted to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital to diagnose that whether her injuries were critical.
