Islami University, Nov 11 The Islami University on Sunday suspended the admission tests for first-year honours courses under the academic session 2012-13.
The university in Kushtia in a statement cited 'unavoidable reasons' for the decision.
The announcement came a day after the Teacher Association of the university announced to boycott educational activities to demand resignation of the Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Treasurer.
The tests were schedule to start from Nov 17 and Nov 21 under several faculties of the university.
Vice Chancellor Prof M Alauddin told bdnews24.com the new date of the examinations will be announced later and admits cards will be distributed among the admission-seekers once the date is fixed.
