2 siblings killed in Savar road crash

 

Two siblings were killed when a bus rammed their motorcycle on the Abdullapur-Baipile road in Ashulia on Saturday.
Traffic movement was disrupted for about an hour as locals put up barricade on the road and vandalised at least five vehicles protesting the deaths.
The deceased were identified as Yeasir Arafat, 28, and Saddam Hossain, 25, sons of Kazi Abdul Majid and residents of Uttara in the capital.
Police said a Dhaka-bound bus of Eagle Paribahan hit the motorbike at Ghoshbagh around 6:30am on way to their workplace, leaving the duo dead on the spot.
Informed, police rushed in and sent the bodies to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
