The
first cold spell is likely to hit the country in the last week of
December, said a meteorologist of the Bangladesh Meteorological
Department on Wednesday.The cold wave may continue for five to six days but temperature will not come down below 10 degree Celsius, Meteorologist Rasheduzzaman said.
In Dhaka, the highest temperature was recorded at 19.3 degree Celsius while the lowest temperature was 15 degree Celsius on Tuesday.
Thick fog with cloudy sky that enveloped the country since Tuesday will continue till Saturday or Sunday, he said.
