Khaleda to address Habiganj rally in afternoon

 

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will address a public meeting in Habiganj Saturday afternoon to drum up support for the restoration of the caretaker government system.
As part of BNP's month-long programme, Khaleda is scheduled to address the meeting at New Field in Habiganj Sadar upazila around 3:00pm, party sources said.
She already started for Habiganj from her Gulshan residence around 11:25am.
On September 7, Party's Office Secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the programme at the party's Naya Paltan central office.
Khaleda is also expected to address public rallies soon at Rajbari and Barisal on the same issue.
Parliament scrapped the caretaker government system last year following a Supreme Court verdict.
