I'll not, Quader will speak: Muhith

Dhaka, Aug 5 Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith has refused to say anything after holding meeting with the visiting Malaysian special envoy on Sunday over the Padma bridge project.
"I will not make any comment. The Communications Minister will say what is necessary," he told journalists after his meeting with Malaysia's Special Envoy to South Asia on Infrastructure S Samy Vellu.
Earlier on the day, a Malaysian delegation led by Vellu held a meeting with the Communications Minister Obaidul Quader to finalise a proposal for the Padma bridge project.
After the meeting, Quader told reporters that Malaysia would come up with a 'final proposal' on the project in three weeks.
The Malaysian envoy Vellu is also scheduled to visit the project site.
Malaysia expressed its interest in financing Bangladesh's largest infrastructure project after the World Bank cancelled its pledged $1.2 billion fund.
Dhaka and Kuala Lumpur signed a memorandum of understanding on Apr 10 in presence of the Malaysian Prime Minister. On Jun 28, Malaysia submitted a draft proposal to Bangladesh government to sign an agreement to build the Padma bridge.
