Obaidul urges all parties to vie in election

DHAKA: Communications Minister Obaidul Quader categorically said Awami League doesn’t want to kick the ball to the goal post in a game without opposition.
“I hope all political parties will participate in the next election,” he added.
He came up with the observation while addressing a programme at Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargoan in the capital on Tuesday morning.
Indicating leader of the opposition Khaleda Zia, Obaidul Quader said, “Sit in dialogue first and then you will understand whether the government is cordial or not.”

“I thanked Khaleda Zia for agreeing to sit in dialogue,” he added.
