Hartal supporters brought out procession and vandalized vehicles in most of the districts, and exploded cocktails.

Police arrested six picketers from Satkhira, five from Faridpur and four picketers were held from Tangail.

Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations will be out of hartal purview.

Earlier on Sunday, a Dhaka court issued arrest warrant against BNP senior vice chairman Tarique Rahman in a graft case.

The court also allowed the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to take help from Interpol in this connection.

In the latest development, the arrest warrant against Tarique Rahman has been sent to Foreign Ministry.

BNP-led 18-party alliance has called countrywide dawn-to-dusk hartal for Wednesday protesting arrest warrant against Tarrique Rahman.
