A press release signed by party’s acting secretary general Rafiqul Islam made the disclosure on Monday afternoon.
Earlier in the day, former Jamaat Ameer Ghulam Azam was awarded 90 years for his involvement in crimes against humanity during liberation war in 1971.
The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 led by ATM Fazle Kabir passed the verdict.
As per the verdict, all five war crime charges against Ghulam Azam have been proved but he was not awarded death sentence considering his old age.
On Monday, Jamaat-called countrywide dawn-to-dusk hartal was observed amid scattered vandalism, arson and cocktails blasts.
