Chief Prosecutor Golam Arif Tipu, prosecutors Jeyad Al Malum and Advocate Sultan Mahmud Simon placed arguments against Ghulam Azam in between February 17 to March 10.
A total of 61 allegations were complied in the charge book against Azam, who was Ameer of the erstwhile East Pakistan chapter of the Islamic party that sided with the Pakistan government during the liberation war.
