Dr AK Abdul Momen, Bangladesh Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN, confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Adbul Momen said that United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon wrote the letters urging two leaders of Bangladesh to hold dialogue to settle the ingoing political deadlock.
Meanwhile, the permanent representative of Bangladesh to UN is in the country at the moment.
Taranco, also special ambassador of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon for Political Affairs, will visit Bangladesh on December 7 for the third time to urge concerned parties to take steps for resolving the current political crisis of the country.
Foreign Ministry sources said that Taranco would talk to the leaders’ from two main political parties and noted citizens of the country.
On May 10, Oscar Fernandez-Taranco came to Dhaka on a three–day visit to Bangladesh.
