Bus torched in city Journo,cop,lawyer among 18 burnt

DHAKA: At least 18 people including journalist, police and lawyer, sustained burn injuries as blockaders torched a passenger bus in front of Mathshya Bhaban in the capital on Thursday evening.

The incident took place around 6:15pm.

Sources said some miscreants got up and set fire to the bus by pouring petrol in the moving condition, leaving at least 16 passengers severely injured.

The injured were admitted to burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
