হিন্দু ধর্মমতে মহামায়া দেবী দুর্গা মর্ত্যলোকে মাতৃরূপে আবির্ভূত হয়েছেন। পূজামণ্ডপগুলোতে দেবী দুর্গার আরাধনা চলছে। বাগেরহাটের শিকদার বাড়ি পূজামণ্ডপ যেন দেব-দেবীর স্বর্গরাজ্য। দেবী দুর্গার সঙ্গী হিসেবে সত্য, ত্রেতা, দ্বাপর ও কলিযুগের বিভিন্ন দেব-দেবীর মূর্তি স্থাপিত হয়েছে এই পূজামণ্ডপে। এ পূজামণ্ডপে এ বছর দেব-দেবীর ৭০১টি প্রতিমা সাজিয়ে দুর্গাপূজার আয়োজন করা হয়েছে।

সৌদি উদ্যোক্তাদের বাংলাদেশে বিনিয়োগের আহ্বান প্রধানমন্ত্রীর

২ শতাংশের বেশি কল ড্রপ হলে ব্যবস্থা নেবে বিটিআরসি

মোবাইলে কথা বলার সময় ১০০ কলে ২ বারের বেশি কল ড্রপ হলে সংশ্লিষ্ট অপারেটরকে জরিমানা করতে পারবে বাংলাদেশ টেলিযোগাযোগ নিয়ন্ত্রণ কমিশন (বিটিআরসি)।সম্প্রতি ডাক, টেলিযোগাযোগ ও তথ্যপ্রযুক্তি মন্ত্রণালয় থেকে অনুমোদন পাওয়া কোয়ালিটি অব সার্ভিস (কিউওএস) নীতিমালা অনুযায়ী এ জরিমানা করতে পারবে বিটিআরসি।

UN has no right to interfere in internal Myanmar matters, says army chief Min Aung Hliang

The head of Myanmar’s defence forces says that the UN has no right to interfere the country’s sovereignty, reports the Myawady Daily.Senior General Min Aung Hlaing’s remarks came after UN investigators called for the prosecution of Hliang and other top Myanmar military brass for the ‘genocide’ perpetrated against the Rohingyas.

Hasina calls 'National Unity' partners killers, corrupt

Awami League president, prime minister Sheikh Hasina has said killers, money-launderers and interest-takers got united against her government.

She fears the country will be destroyed if they could come to power.“These elements will plunder national resources, destroy the country and become cohorts of the anti-liberation forces if they come to power. So the people will have to think about them,” she told a civic reception hosted in her honour by expatriates Bangladeshis living in the USA.Sheikh Hasina criticised vehemently the formation of a new anti-government alliance led by Kamal Hossain and Badruddoza Chowdhury and wondered how they will fight corruption keeping the corrupt elements along with them.

“Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman were convicted in corruption charges and we’ve brought back the money they siphoned off abroad. Now Kamal Hossain, Badruddoza Chowdhury and Mahmudur Rahman Manna will fight the graft taking these corrupt elements with them,” she said.
